• Debra has guided the writing, directed and filmed over 700 original One-Person Shows at USC, AADA, and professionally. Several of her plays have gone onto New York, the U.K. and Europe.

• Received a three year California Arts Council Grant to teach acting and playwriting at a medium security prison.

• Written and performed three of her own solo pieces, The Nurse June Show, about her disabled but inspirational mother, and playing Isadora Duncan in her Isadora’s Dream, and Beautiful, Terrifying, Love dealing with mental illness in families.

• Dramaturged and directed The Most Mediocre Story Never Told won Best Solo Play L.A. Weekly, and went onto NYC International Fringe Festival.

• Dramaturged and directed Prick- won Best Script United Solo Festival.

• Dramaturged and directed Cock Tales an evening of wickedly original male monologues, from some of L.A.’s finest playwrights, which ran for ten months in Hollywood.

• Debra's work has been featured in articles including the LA Weekly, Pasadena Weekly, and Backstage and Femme Fatales Magazines.

• Directed several episodes of the comedy show The Tyrants in Therapy starring Abbe Kanter and Michael Jaye, and helmed other comedy webisodes including Eve and Adam and David and the Psychiatrist.

• Taught Directing Actors to film students at LA Film School.
